Don't worry - students who are not black belts are more than welcome. In fact, the school wouldn't exist without them.

What we mean by 'This is a black belt school.' is that we want every student to make it their own goal to achieve black belt status. The unfortunate fact is that of all the people who begin martial arts, only a tiny fraction achieve their black belt; of those who do many leave shortly thereafter. What we want is to instill students with the confidence and dedication necessary to make the several year odyssey through the colored belt ranks to black belt, and beyond.

Our Location

South Elgin Martial Arts has been providing martial arts instruction to the South Elgin community for about 15 years. While we've taught classes in a variety of locations during that time, we are currently located, near the intersection of Spring Street and La Fox Street.

105 N. La Fox St., South Elgin, IL , is located near the heart of South Elgin, with ample parking available at the Village Hall and Panton Mills Park.

Step Inside

The space is clean, well lighted, and dedicated entirely to the education of our students. The entrance in the front of the building provides easy access, while an exit in the rear of the building provides a convenient storage for coats and shoes.

Having a dedicated space available allows to offer more classes than ever before - four days a week with a greater variety of times and classes. Having more options allows all classes to be smaller and provide more personal attention and individualized training
